Rio Secco Golf Club Hires Kim Lescenski as Sales Director

Rio Secco Golf Club is proud to announce Kim Lescenski has been appointed director of sales for Rio Secco Golf Club and its sister course Cascata in Boulder City. In this role, Ms. Lescenski will collaborate with the Las Vegas hotel and resort partners, destination management companies and meeting planners to create unique and memorable events, golf tournaments and corporate outings at both golf courses.

Ms. Lescenski is no stranger to the Vegas market, having studied at UNLV and operated in the area for more than 20 years. Her knowledge and expertise of the unique Vegas hospitality industry will be key in helping Rio Secco connect with not only hotel and resort partners, but also wedding and event planners.

“Having a career in the Vegas golf and hospitality industry has given me the opportunity to meet so many amazing and diverse people,” Lescenski said. “Vegas is such a dynamic city, and it has been incredible to watch it grow and become the destination it is today.”

With all her experience, Lescenski knows a thing or two about what it takes to shine in Las Vegas.

“I feel the conditions and commitment to service is what makes Rio Secco stand out over many other courses in the valley. The course is challenging, yet very enjoyable and offers beautiful views of the city,” Lescenski continued. “We take pride in serving the guest from maintaining a good pace of play – always a priority in the golf industry – providing the best course conditions and excellence all the way from the beverage cart service to upscale, catered events.

Among her new responsibilities at Rio Secco will be working with event staffs to plan large events on property.

“I’ve worked with many types of events – everything from large scale pro-ams, charity events, corporate events and plenty of others – in Las Vegas for a long time,” said Lescenski. “Scheduling a large golf event takes a good amount of planning on the part of the coordinator. It’s important to communicate with the golf course well in advance to secure your preferred date. Once the date is chosen, the tournament coordinator or golf professional at the course will assist the group with everything they need, from personalized cart signs, to hole contests, scorecards, F&B and even scoring after play.”
