Some of the best golf courses in Las Vegas are getting even better as VICI Properties – owners and operators of the Rees Jones-designed Rio Secco Golf Club and Cascata – announced a partnership with Brightview to enhance agronomy management across their Las Vegas golf course portfolio. Brightview’s involvement will include heightened management of golf course operation procedures including aerification, overseeding and water irrigation.
“We take the conditions of our golf properties very seriously, and we’ve always focused on improving golf course conditions and the player’s experience – at every level – at each one of our golf properties,” said Jeff Krohn, VP of Golf for Vici Properties. “Bringing in Brightview will ensure our conditions are superior at all times, and our focus on quality will be paramount throughout our operations. We’re extremely excited with this new direction.”
Brightview’s Sports and Leisure Division – considered one of the very best in the world – uses science-based agronomic tactics takeing golf course maintenance to the next level by developing collaborative efforts between their PhDs in course agronomy and the superintendents at each golf course.
What does that mean for players at Rio Secco and Cascata? It means whether you’re teeing it up in great weather or braving the summer sun, players can count on the conditioning of the fairways, greens, bunkers and tee boxes being immaculate at all times.
